Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Benjamin’s Mobile Detailing, Savannah’s trusted mobile auto detailing service. Our goal is to provide professional, convenient, and reliable detailing brought directly to your home or workplace.

These Terms & Conditions are designed to protect both you and our business. By booking with us, you agree to all terms listed below.

1. Booking, Deposits & Cancellation Policy

A $50 deposit is required to lock in your booking. By scheduling any service with Benjamin’s Mobile Detailing, you agree to the following:

  • The $50 deposit is required to secure all appointments prior to service.
  • Your deposit is applied toward your final invoice on the day of service.
  • If you reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will transfer to your new appointment time.
  • Cancellations or reschedule requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the deposit being forfeited.

Cash Discount Policy: If you choose to pay in cash and receive the 10% cash discount, your $50 holding deposit will be refunded to your card after the service is completed and paid in cash.

2. Before Your Appointment

To help us deliver the best possible service, we kindly ask that you prepare your vehicle before we arrive:

  • Please remove all personal belongings, valuables, trash, and items from door pockets, cupholders, trunk, and storage compartments.
  • We do not uninstall or reinstall car seats for safety reasons. If car seats remain installed, we will clean around them as best as possible.
  • If the vehicle is not ready upon arrival and we must wait more than 10 minutes for the vehicle to be cleared or made accessible, a $50 delay / convenience fee may be applied.
  • If we arrive and cannot access the vehicle (locked vehicle, customer unavailable, wrong address, etc.), we reserve the right to charge a $100 missed-slot fee for the lost appointment time.

3. Vehicle Condition Terms

All estimates are based on the information provided at the time of booking. The customer must accurately describe the vehicle’s condition so we can quote and schedule appropriately.

Benjamin’s Mobile Detailing does not offer:

  • Heavy pet hair removal
  • Mold removal
  • Biohazard cleanup (including but not limited to blood, vomit, feces, urine, or other bodily fluids)

The vehicle may be subject to an updated quote after an in-person inspection if its condition is worse than described at the time of booking. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Excessive dirt, mud, or sand
  • Stains or spills
  • Excess food, trash, or debris
  • Smoke odor or strong odors
  • Significant pet hair or embedded debris

Stain removal and odor removal are not guaranteed. Some stains, materials, and odors may be permanent or beyond the scope of detailing.

Headliners are cleaned very gently due to the risk of sagging or adhesive failure. For this reason, heavy staining on headliners may remain even after cleaning.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or wear to interior components, including but not limited to loose buttons, cracked plastics, peeling trim, scratched panels, faded upholstery, or any damage that becomes more visible after cleaning.

4. Exterior Detailing Terms

Exterior detailing can greatly improve the appearance of your vehicle, but some conditions and defects cannot be fully corrected through detailing alone.

  • Bird droppings, bug splatter, sap, and tar can etch into paintwork if left untreated. Full removal of etching is not always possible without compromising the clear coat.
  • Heavily contaminated or neglected wheels with baked-on brake dust may not fully restore to “like new” condition.
  • Plastic and rubber trim restoration results vary depending on age, UV exposure, and prior care.
  • Any wax, sealant, or coating applied must be maintained with safe washing practices. Improper care can shorten its lifespan.

5. On-Site Service Terms

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion of your service.
  • We reserve the right to request full payment upfront for clients who have canceled or rescheduled multiple times.
  • We may reschedule your appointment due to weather, staff illness, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues. When this happens, we will notify you and arrange a new time.
  • For your safety, please keep at least 10–15 feet away from our work area to avoid hoses, cords, and equipment.
  • If we discover undisclosed hazardous conditions (e.g., biohazards, mold, strong chemical exposure), we reserve the right to refuse or stop service and charge a partial fee at our discretion.

6. Photo & Video Usage

By booking with Benjamin’s Mobile Detailing, you agree that we may take before-and-after photos or videos of your vehicle for marketing, portfolio, and training purposes.

  • We will not share your name without your permission.
  • We will avoid clearly showing license plates and home addresses in our content.

If you prefer that no photos or videos of your vehicle be used, please let us know before your appointment and we will accommodate that request.

7. Service Guarantee

Our goal is to deliver a high standard of workmanship on every job. If there is a clear oversight or area that was missed within the scope of the package you purchased, we will address it.

  • Any issues must be brought to our attention during the post-service walk-through or within 24 hours of completion.
  • After 24 hours, new dust, dirt, pollen, weather, or use of the vehicle may limit our ability to evaluate or correct the issue.
  • If we determine a redo is appropriate, it will be limited to the specific area or portion of the service in question.
  • Refusing a redo appointment for the unsatisfactory portion of service limits any refund to 20% of the value of the service.

Only services included in your selected package (and any add-ons agreed upon) are covered under this guarantee.

8. Payments, Disputes & Liability

  • Payment is due in full upon completion of service (less your $50 deposit).
  • Failure or refusal to pay may result in service refusal in the future and/or collection efforts.
  • Any concerns or disputes must be reported within 24 hours of service completion, preferably with photos.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, prior poor repairs, or wear and tear that becomes more noticeable after cleaning.
  • We are not liable for items left in the vehicle. Please remove all valuables and personal property before service.
  • We are not responsible for mechanical or electrical issues that occur during or after detailing if they are unrelated to our work.

Estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time and are subject to change after in-person inspection of the vehicle.

9. Agreement

By booking an appointment with Benjamin’s Mobile Detailing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
